Brazil
There’s no doubting the magnetism of Brazil. I simply can’t keep away. It’s something to do with its colour; the colour of its skies, the colour of its beaches, the colour of its fruit, the colour of its people and maybe, if I could understand enough of it, the colour of its lingo. Whatever it is, I just feel like I’ve been coloured in by the most remarkable watercolours whenever I step in the place.
None of this love for Brazil should come as a surprise though. After all, it is the spiritual home of football, has an amazonian range of fruits, and probably the most under-rated popular music in the world (at least by Western eyes). Plus, and possibly this is in fact the principal reason, it has the most ridiculous range of beaches you will find in any country.
